    Apple Pie!

    One of the great things about writing my Pie Town series of cozy mystery novels, is I get to research pie shops. Last weekend, I was driving down California's Highway One and... Yes! I will slow for pie! The sign belonged to Pie Ranch - a super charming farm that sells pie and other goodies, and does some educational classes on farming and apparently, baking pie... (FYI, apple cider vinegar is the "secret ingredient" in my pie crust specialist, Charlene's crust. Shh...). But
