I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Pisces is a water sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s water suit, cups, for Pisces. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only). And since Spring begins on March 20th, I'm going full Spring Fling on the gifs.
Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The Hanged Man and the Four of Cups. You may feel like you're in a holding pattern, and maybe you are. But an opportunity is being extended to you. Even better, you have the resources to take full advantage. Now, will you take it?
Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Chariot and the Nine of Wands. Take a step back and make sure your conscious and subconscious desires on the same page. If they're at odds, it's going to be difficult to win the day. So if you don't like the situation you're in but keep repeating the same patterns, take a hard look at your subconscious desires. Deep down, there must be something you like about what's happening, or you wouldn't keep doing it to yourself.
Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Fool and the Eight of Pentacles. Is your so-called creative life becoming a drag? Work getting you down? Then it's time to bring a sense of play to the task. Yes, play! Life's too short not to have fun. All you need to do is be willing to have it, and you'll find that your new perspective enlivens everything you touch.
Gemini, May 21 – June 20: Strength and the Seven of Swords. There's a roaring beast inside us all, one we'd often rather not admit exists. But you need to pay attention to it this month and figure out what's feeding it, or it may manifest in ways you don't like. The best way to handle that beast? Acknowledge it. Honor it. Learn to love it. It's a part of you, after all. Then you can let it go.
Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Empress and the Page of Cups. Your powers of creation are high this month, Cancer. However, what's called for now is to step back, maybe even take a rest, to give your inventiveness and intuition room for growth. Forcing the issue isn't always the answer.
Leo, July 23 – August 22: The Emperor and the Three of Wands. Your ship is coming in, Leo, but in order for it to reach its destination, you'll need to be like the Emperor -- direct, organized, and no B.S. Keep your eye on the goal to stay inspired! That ship is loaded with goodies and well worth waiting for.
Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The World and the Knight of Pentacles. You can have it all (in fact, you already do, you're just don't know it), but don't expect to get it right away. Achieving your dreams and self-actualization both take time and work. But with the glories possible for you, it's so worth it!
Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Star and the Five of Swords. It may feel like others are soaring ahead of you, and that can be frustrating. But the Star calls us to focus on hope and love. Wonderful things are coming, and some day, you'll be the one people look to and wonder: "why can't that be me?"
Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: Death and the Ten of Cups. In order for something new to start, something must be cleared away. And that can be scary or exciting, depending on your point of view. With the Ten of Cups in hand, your POV has every reason to be optimistic. This card promises all good things to come -- love, family, and hope. Just know you're going to have to loosen your grip to let it happen.
Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Magician and the King of Wands. This month you're called upon to do some goal setting + action. The Magician assures you that you have all the tools you need at your disposal. If you're the planning sort, then review and update yours. If you're not, then now's the time to set some concrete goals and targets for the month. You'll be amazed at what you accomplish.
Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Justice and the Ten of Pentacles. Driving too hard in one direction or the other can lead to neglect of critical areas of your life -- the bits that make it all worth while. So trust that things will work out, ease up, and devote some time and attention to the beauty in this world -- especially to friends and loved ones.
Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Moon and the Page of Swords. It might take a bit of lunacy to find the answers you're seeking. Know that you're at the beginning of the journey, and this is a good thing. It means you've got lots of room to grow and evolve. So relax, smell the flowers, and enjoy this stage of becoming!
