June Tarotscopes

Tarotscopes June 2017

Welcome to this month's Tarotscopes! Since the Summer Solstice is June 21st, my gif theme this month is A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Gemini is an air sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s air suit, swords, for Gemini. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).

Gemini, May 21 – June 20: Wheel of Fortune and the Nine of Swords. Don't freak out! Problems may seem to be looming on the horizon (and maybe they are), but they're not as bad as they look. Step away from your worrying and ask -- is this helping me take productive action? Or is it just needlessly raising my blood pressure?

Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Fool and the Page of Cups. Approach emotional issues without expectations. Preconceptions taint the outcome (and subconsciously influence others). If you stay open to what may come, what does come will be a delightful surprise.

Leo, July 23 – August 22: The Sun and the Queen of Wands. Don't hide your light under a bushel! It's okay for people to know how amazing you are, so put yourself out there and show some love. You have every reason to feel confident.

Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The Moon and the Two of Pentacles. If you feel overwhelmed with various demands this month, the good news/bad news is this is only a reflection of your own internal turmoil. That's good news, because this means you have more control over things than you may think. But yeah, psyches can be tough to deal with. Meditate or do whatever else you need to do to find your inner balance.

Libra, September 23 – October 22: Temperance and the Ten of Swords. Things are coming to an end -- an excellent time to panic about what comes next. Right? Wrong! Get out of your head and out of your own way, and do what you need to find some balance. Whatever comes next, it will go easier if you're in a place of calm.

Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: Justice and the King of Cups. You may be put to the test this month, Scorpio. Strive to be fair and even handed. Keep in mind that all involved are operating under restrictions -- some of which may be out of their hands. (And don't forget to be fair to yourself as well!)

Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Hermit and the Page of Wands. If you're at the beginning of something this month -- a project, a job, a new relationship -- take some time to go reflect. The more connected you are on the inside, the stronger things will be on the outside.

Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Judgement and the Knight of Pentacles. You may not like change (who does?) but change is coming. The call is there, quivering on the edges of your psyche. Will you listen? Because this is something that needs to happen. Relax, this transformation is a good thing.

Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Emperor and the Seven of Swords. Rise above it. Sure you may be in the right, but so what? Would you rather be in the right, or would you rather be right with yourself? Let go of any resentments you may be harboring. They're only weighing you down.

Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The Tower and the Five of Cups. You may face an upset or loss this month. But the discomfort you feel is directly proportional to the attention you decide to give it. You're not beaten. Life goes on. Focus on the wonderful things in your life.

Aries, March 21 – April 19: Death and the King of Wands. This month you may be asked to be a change driver, which can be stressful but rewarding. Just remember that while you're making things happen, others might feel like storm-tossed ships. The easiest way to get them on board? Bring them into the decision making processes. You're not giving up control; you're getting things done.

Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Devil and the Three of Pentacles. There's help available to you, but for some reason you can't see it, or you can't see the advantages. What's really stopping you from collaborating? If it's ego, you might want to take a second look at what's on offer.
