November Tarotscopes

November Tarotscopes

I’m drawing one card for each sign from the Tarot’s Major Arcana and the second from its elemental suit. E.g. since Scorpio is a water sign, one card is drawn from the Major Arcana and one from the Tarot’s water suit, cups, for Scorpio. (Standard disclaimer: Tarotscopes are for entertainment purposes only).

Scorpio, October 23 – November 21: The Wheel of Fortune and the Page of Cups. Take a chance this month in emotional matters. It could be in a relationship or in just trusting your instincts. Know that there is a time for everything, and this is a good time for beginnings.

Sagittarius, November 22 – December 21: The Sun and the King of Wands. You can dazzle this month, Sagittarius, but to do so, you need to bring some King of Wands energy to your act: decisiveness, creativity, and the willingness to take charge. So shine!

Capricorn, December 22 – January 19: Strength and the Ace of Pentacles. The key to successfully initiating something new -- a health regime, a work project, or anything else in the "physical" realm -- is self care. Be kind to yourself and others, and know when you're pushing too hard.

Aquarius, January 20 – February 18: The Tower and the Ten of Swords. Ouch! There may be some disruption in your life this month, Aquarius. Two important points. First, the Tower card usually shakes up something that needed to be let go of. Second, the 10 of Swords lets you know that you your reaction to what happens can make things better or worse, and it promises you can move forward. You do have power in this situation. The key is to let go.

Pisces, February 19 – March 20: The High Priestess and the Ten of Cups. The uncertainty might be driving you crazy, but trust that good things are on their way. Not everything is knowable, but know that your family and friends have your back. And that's important.

Aries, March 21 – April 19: The Hierophant and the Seven of Wands. You may feel at odds with traditions and expectations this month, Aries. It's okay to defend your positions, but don't lose compassion for others. Just because they disagree with you (and even if they're wrong), it doesn't mean they're out to get you.

Taurus, April 20 – May 20: The Magician and the Eight of Pentacles. You're making magic this month, Taurus, so get excited! This is the emotional key to bringing your will and your intent into sync. You have the opportunity to accomplish great things, so go forth and make it happen!

Gemini, May 21 – June 20: The Chariot and the Six of Swords: You're moving into a period of stability and forward motion, where your will and desire are working together. And when those two things come together, you're pretty much unstoppable. Do what you need to do to get your head in a good place.

Cancer, June 21 – July 22: The Lovers and the Nine of Cups. Hot cha cha! Normally, the Lovers mean's "choice," but when paired with the lovely Nine of Cups, the most obvious interpretation is the best. It's an Occam's Razor thing. So revel in your relationships this month, Cancer! And be present.

Leo, July 23 – August 22: Justice and the Five of Wands. Justice will prevail in a minor conflict that's left you with feelings of instability. But try to keep things in perspective. You may be right, and you may "win," but at root this is a tempest in a teapot and not worth expending emotions on. Stay grounded.

Virgo, August 23 – September 22: The Star and the Seven of Pentacles. It's harvest time! You've put a lot of effort into making things happen, and they're about to pay off. The Star tells you that you have every reason to be optimistic about the fruits of your labors. Congratulations on all you're about to accomplish!

Libra, September 23 – October 22: The Moon and the Ace of Swords. New thoughts and ideas are bubbling up from your subconscious. Give them some time to evolve, so you can sort out what's real and what's not, because what's real has great potential. You've got some serious mental energy working on your behalf this month, but the ego loves to trip us up. Take time to figure out where these thoughts are coming from.
