The Magickal Monthly Bullet Journal

I'm taking over Jayce's usual Witch's Brew today, because things have once again gotten strange in Doyle. Long story. Coming soon.

Anyway, my sisters and I were invited to a Yule party. Jayce brought tiny jars of her coffee-coconut-some-kind-of-magic scrub. Lenore brought some lovely pens - I think she gets a discount through her bookstore. In a fit of desperation, I spent the weekend making these tiny journals (above). The thing is, they're REALLY tiny, so I also added instructions for using simplified bullet journaling to create a journal of monthly reflections for busy witches. I call it, the Magickal Monthly Bullet Journal.

It's useful, as a witch, to keep track of the synchronicities and big dreams you encounter, and also just to track whether the spells you're manifesting are really working. And if you're life's too complicated to spend time with a full-on journal, quick bullet notes can come in handy.

Below are some ideas for a bullet journal, which can, of course, morph into a Book of Shadows if you choose to include spells.

* On the first page, write an introduction or dedication, like: Karin's Monthly Magickal Journal. Enter and Beware!

* Keep the next four pages open to put in important messages to yourself, sigils, dedications to goddesses, affirmations, etc.

* On the last page, write your bullet key, e.g.:

sample bullet journal key for witches!

Then start bulleting your reflections. For example:

For the spell, I simply noted the goal, the book it came from and the date. The spell’s already written down—why write it again?

For synchronicities, I listed all the synchronicities I was seeing in one place, rather than making multiple bullets. The goal is to keep things short and to the point and hopefully, fun!

Magickal Monthly Mini Bullet Journal

And in honor of my rebranded book, Spirit on Fire, (still paranormal romance, but edited to make it a little more cozy), it's not only going on sale for 99 cents this week, but I'll also be running giveaways from author Kirsten Weiss's Facebook page for these super-cute, handmade, mini monthly journals with printed instructions for bullet journaling. And yes, the ribbon's included! ;-)
