It's officially spring at the Paranormal Museum! If you've been following our X feed, you know we've had a terrific line-up of speakers to compliment our rotating exhibits. We hope to see you at our Spring Awakening Ghost Hunt tonight!
What are psychedelic entities? People taking psychedelics keep running into what feel like real, independent beings—helpful guides, tricksters, or giant insects that deliver messages and stick with them long after the trip ends. One article digs into whether these entities are just brain tricks or something cracking open a door to another layer of reality. Either way, the encounters sound hyperreal and deeply personal. Makes me think about all the visitors here who swear they caught a glimpse of something that wasn't on any exhibit label.
Dad flees home after ghosts go wild. A dad in North Yorkshire finally gave up and fled his flat after doors started slamming on their own, toys scooted across the floor, and cupboard doors swung open with nobody around. His daughter said someone was in the room with her, the cat refused to go downstairs, and the camera caught a skateboard and teddy bear moving by themselves. He used to think ghosts were nonsense. Now he's exhausted and looking for a new place because whatever's there just feels wrong.
Excitement after wave of Ohio Bigfoot sightings. Northeast Ohio is having a proper Bigfoot moment—eight sightings in five days, folks describing a seven- or eight-foot reddish-brown figure with long arms and that heavy stride. One expert called it the first real flap in the area since the 1970s and sounded pretty excited. No clear photos or casts yet, but the witnesses all seem like regular locals who know their woods.
And out in South Dakota, a mountain lion hunter heard those deep whoops and knocks that everyone associates with the big guy. Spring really does bring them out.
On the belief side, there's a piece about why Bigfoot believers rarely switch sides even when skeptics wave around hoaxes or blurry footage. Turns out we hold onto these stories the same way we hold onto old friends—because they've become part of who we are. We've got plenty of repeat visitors at my little paranormal museum who walk in already convinced, and I never try to talk them out of it. I just listen and hand them a brochure.
What strange tales are unfolding in your humble haunts? If you can't get enough of cozy mysteries where the ghosts are quirky sidekicks and the real danger comes from very human suspects, the Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum series might be right up your alley. And if you're in the mood for full-length mysteries inspired by museum life, the series has plenty of chills and chuckles.
We'd love to see you at the San Benedetto Paranormal Museum down the street—browse the books, maybe pick up a protective charm or two. Can't make it? Stop by our online shop!
Stay spooky,
