A year ago, I had this idea to include a murder mystery game in the back of my Big Murder Mystery books. I even took a class on how to write murder mystery games -- you know, where you go to a friend's house and roleplay a suspect in a murder, while trying to figure out whodunit?
And I came to the conclusion there was no way I was going to pull it off. I just didn't have the bandwidth. Plus, it was all a little too complicated.
And then about two weeks ago I figured out a way to do it. I've been busy writing the game, set in the world of the Big Murder Mystery books. I'm going to test it out on my family over the holidays, because they'll all be stuck in a room with me and after all the food and drink, their resistance will be lower.
Meanwhile, I've got FOUR mysteries up for pre-order right now!
